Job Vacancy – Area Sales Engineer – Capital Sales
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious and driven Area Sales Engineer, to become part of our ever-growing business.
Based: Pennine Pneumatic Services Ltd, Brighouse, HD6 3DR. Predominantly covering West Yorkshire from the Brighouse head office but also supporting our branches is Hull, Sheffield and Leigh as required.
Key responsibilities:
- Making appointments to meet new and existing customers
- Carrying out site surveys & understanding the customers’ requirements
- Making presentations to promote new products
- Agreeing sales, prices, contracts and payments
- Processing quotations and updating the company’s computer records
- Working closely with the service department and pipefitting department
- Adhering to companies processes and procedures
- Advising customers about delivery schedules and after-sales service
- Carrying out site surveys
- Recording orders and sending details to the main office
- Carrying out competitor analysis and understanding their products and services
- Going to conferences and seminars and keeping up with industry trends
- Meeting sales targets
- Reporting sales trends to your employer.

Pennine Pneumatic Services Ltd are known for being compressed air specialists. With four branches across the North of England we are one of the largest compressed air providers in the region.
Compressed air is used in all forms of manufacturing and is referred to as the 4th utility. For the vast majority of our industrial customers, if the compressor is down, so is their production. Downtime costs money.

We help our customers to unleash their productivity.
We supply: air compressors, vacuum pumps, nitrogen generators, chillers, hvac equipment, pneumatics, pipework and assembly tools
We design and install: from the compressor room to the factory floor, we plan energy efficient reliable solutions that are installed by our own team
We manufacture: all our ductwork is manufactured at our Brighouse head office to fit perfectly with our customers systems
We maintain: our factory trained Service Engineers keep equipment in top condition with preventative maintenance and are on call 24/7 for the unexpected

Salary: Salary and benefits information will be available upon interview.
Working hours: Full time, 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday
