    Job vacancy - Pneumatic Sales Manager

    Pennine Pneumatic Services offer sales and service of a varied range of compressed air equipment, ancillaries, vacuum, pneumatics, and nitrogen products. 

    We are searching for a customer-focussed team player that can think on their feet.  We are looking for someone who has great attention to detail and is a finisher, who always see’s the job through to a sale.  

    Based: Brighouse Head Office 

    Working hours: Full time, 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday 

    Job Type: Permanent 

    Salary: Salary and benefits information will be available upon interview 

    Key responsibilities: 

    • Responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of the pneumatic sales team across all 5 branches and inter group trading.
    • Ensure the team are well planned and have a clear sales and customer service strategy. 
    • Take ownership of the P&L for the department. 
    • Grow and develop clients through effective account management and business development. 
    • Agreeing sales, prices, contracts and payments 
    • Taking the lead on monthly meetings to communicate business success and development areas for growth. 
    • To establish and maintain effective relationships with the other branches and departments within the group. 
    • Working closely with other departments and group companies to maximise opportunity and organic growth.  
    • Adhering to companies processes and procedures. 
    • Advising customers about delivery schedules and after-sales service. 
    • To train, guide, empower and motivate your team to achieve their assigned goals. 
    • Carrying out competitor analysis and understanding their products and services. 
    • Going to conferences and seminars and keeping up with industry trends 
    • Identify new product opportunities, manage and negotiate supply chain relationships. 
    • Responsibility for the management of stock including consignment at other stores.

    In this job you will not only demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills but also the ability to utilise your IT skills to ensure the sales administration is completed effectively.
