    Job vacancy - Service Coordinator

    Recruiting now for a Service Coordinator on a permanent basis in Alfreton, Derbyshire.

    Key tasks as a Service Coordinator would include:

    • Taking reactive calls from customers and dealing with them in a professional manner
    • Scheduling maintenance works, call out activities, return visits, commissioning and any additional work as required
    • Ensure efficient utilization of Engineers work load
    • To carry out general record keeping for engineer’s worksheets including inputting details onto the service system.
    • Process engineer job sheets on Protean following visit, up to and including point of invoice
    • To deal with customer queries regarding work performed on site.
    • To ensure customer correspondence is updated and accurate, including contract profiles and renewal letters
    • Ensure smooth communication with Compressor Spares and parts
    • Working closely with Service Manager to implement change and improvements
    • Arrange and coordinate Hire machines.
    • Manage workshop workload & tidiness
    • Raise Sub contract orders
    • Assist with maintaining service database
    • Collation and distribution of jobs to teams
    • Support the service function securing maintenance opportunities
    • Support engineers and customer out of hours when necessary
    • Work with the compressor spares team to bring continual improvements to both departments
    • Work with and provide support to engineers
    • Assist the service manager in developing and implementing PDP’s

    Skills required:

    • Excellent communication skills both oral and written, including active listening skills
    • Ability to work effectively individually or part of a busy team and work under pressure
    • Excellent telephone manner
    • Good command of the English language (Written and spoken)
    • Ability to meet deadlines and targets

    Working hours: 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday

    Job Type: Full-time
