Norman Walker to attend the Hull & Humber Chamber Expo

Humber Business Week (Biz Week) is back, and Norman Walker will be attending one of its flagship events – the Hull and Humber Chamber Expo – to offer advice to local businesses about how you can reduce your compressed air energy usage.

When and where does the Hull and Humber Chamber Expo take place?

The Expo takes place on Tuesday 7 June 2022 at the Mercure Hull Grange Park Hotel in Willerby, Hull. Doors open at 10am and the event comes to a close at 4.30pm. You don’t need to be a Hull Chamber member to attend.

It’s a new venue for the event and a new format, with the chance to meet and discuss with businesses over the course of one day. As well as informal networking opportunities, there will be a Speed Networking event during the day.

Attending the expo is a great opportunity to meet potential customers and suppliers, and to support local businesses.

    What is Biz Week?

Taking place from Monday 6 June to Friday 10 June, Biz Week offers a range of expos, conferences, networking events, workshops, tours and receptions. The Hull and Humber Chamber Expo is a key part of Biz Week and one of the most important business events on the region’s calendar.

While the 2021 Biz Week was mostly held online due to Covid pandemic restrictions, this year things are opening up again, with the opportunity for face-to-face meetings and networking.

As the organisers say: “Humber Business Week is a week which says that the Hull & Humber region is not only open for business, but doing great business. It is a week led by businesses, for businesses – and we want everybody who wants to be involved to be so.”

    Visit our stand

Norman Walker will be in attendance for the day, so please feel free to drop by our stand for a chat.

Our expert sales engineers will be on hand to offer advice on your compressed air systems, with particular focus on how we can help you save money – which will be welcomed by all businesses during these challenging economic times.

How can we help you save money?

We offer a range of measures to improve the energy efficiency of your production unit, starting with a free Energy Audit to collect data on your current system’s operation. From this information, we can make recommendations, such as replacing your air compressor with a more energy-efficient model, with fast payback on running cost savings.

Air leak surveys and remedial action can also provide important savings – did you know that it’s not unusual for a compressed air system to be losing 30% to 60% of its air through leaks? Identifying and fixing air leaks can reduce your operating costs dramatically over the course of a year.

Our expert engineers will be on hand at the Expo to tell you more about market-leading products and cutting-edge technology, such as the Atlas Copco’s most advanced sustainable, energy-efficient and smart rotary screw compressor, the GA VSDs, which offers astonishing average energy savings of 60%. Or the Atlas Copco HEX@ vacuum controller, which can help to futureproof your operation with advanced performance, functionality, connectivity and system integration.
