This course teaches basic knowledge and skills around Regulation 9 of the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations, S.I. 2000 No. 128. On completing this course, the candidate will be classed as a “competent person” in line with the requirement of Regulation 9. This means the candidates will be able to examine a system against a written scheme, but not to certify written schemes.
