Come and meet PPS at the NFPC Industry Exhibition

At PPS we love to meet our customers and suppliers face-to-face, which hasn’t always been easy over the past two years. So, we were delighted to hear that the National Fluid Power Centre (NFPC) Industry Exhibition will be going ahead this February in Nottinghamshire.

    When and where?

The Exhibition will take place on Wednesday 16 February at the National Fluid Power Centre, Carlton Road, Worksop S81 7HP.

The official opening of the exhibition will be at 9.30am and it will close at 3.30pm. The event is free to attend and there will be refreshments and a buffet provided.

The Centre is conveniently located just off the A60, a few miles east of Sheffield and there is free car parking on site.

Come and chat to us on our stand

Our Sheffield branch has booked a stand and our industry experts will be on hand to chat to you about all of your compressed air needs, as well as associated products and services, from nitrogen generation and pneumatics to heat recovery, HVAC and chillers.

Most importantly in a time of rising energy bills, we’ll be able to give you sound, practical advice on energy savings, from choosing the right size of compressor to dealing with air leaks. This is even more important as companies wake up to the fact that energy efficiency makes sense for both your pocket and the planet.

    Why are we taking part?

As members of the National Fluid Power Centre Advisory and Strategic Planning Group, we are committed to supporting the organisation’s work. The NFPC offers a wide range of comprehensive training programmes and we are working closely with them to develop training focused on compressed air engineering.

This includes promoting the importance of correct specification to create an efficient compressed air system. With compressed air the highest expenditure of energy in many industries, it makes sense to ensure that your business is taking advantage of the savings that can be found through energy efficiency measures.

As an Atlas Copco Authorised Distributor, we also secured the donation of a state-of-the-art Atlas Copco GA7VSD+ air compressor for use at the NFPC, as part of a showpiece for compressed air engineering. The installation also uses Transair pipework from Parker, who are advisors to the NFPC.

    What else is going on?

Delegates will be able to network with the company representatives attending and discuss their latest technologies. You will also have the opportunity to look around the NFPC. If you have any training needs, the NFPC Training Engineers will be on hand to advise.

Don’t forget to bring your business cards to hand out – and to enter into the NFPC business card draw, with a free place on one of the organisation’s Stage 1 courses (BFPA MERS) up for grabs.

    About the NFPC

First opened in 2000, the NFPC is the UK’s number one training provider for Integrated Systems Engineering.

The organisation offers services to more than 300 leading companies in the UK and across the globe. There are three technical centres, featuring the latest industry equipment supplied by NFPC’s Industry Partners and valued at more than £3m. The BFPA-certified CETOP Education Centre holds OSO9001-2015 approval.

The centre regularly hosts technical seminars and corporate events and the NFPC’s Training Engineers have many years of industry experience, enabling them to offer high-quality advice and support to those attending training courses.

The short courses on offer range from a basic awareness level in hydraulics, pneumatics and electronics to advanced level and bespoke training programmes on specific customer machinery, which can be delivered at the NFPC or at your premises.

We look forward to seeing you at the Exhibition. If you have any questions about our products and services, or about energy efficiency, please don’t hesitate to get in contact.
